NCBR as a Member of networks
Science|Business – is an association that was created to connect three worlds that should work together, but are too often distant from each other: industry, research and politics. The Science|Business network includes universities, businesses, research and political organizations, and is an important forum in which to develop innovation. SB newsletters reach the most influential innovators and decision-makers in Europe and its meetings bring together speakers and listeners who want to make a difference. In its reports, the SB uses its experience and knowledge of European policy making to analyse and indicate next steps and solutions.
NCBR has been a member of the SB network since 2021.
The European Network of Innovation Agencies – is a network aimed at supporting its members in fulfilling their mandates in implementing RTI policy by providing transnational training, access to expert knowledge, peer learning and benchmarking. TAFTIE is a forum for the exchange of knowledge and experience, benchmarking and mutual learning between the members - innovation agencies in Europe and International Partners. It also serves as a platform for joint activities, such as providing access to experiences, knowledge and views on implementation practices, to serve as input to discussions with national authorities and the European Commission, and activities to increase the impact of members' activities in accordance with their mandate. In addition, the network acts as a contact point for external partners for cooperation and exchange of views with interested groups of its members. It also supports active exchange and cooperation with international innovation agencies.
NCBR has been a member of the TAFTIE network since 2021.
Informal Group of R&I Liaison Offices – is an informal network of R&I liaison offices based in Brussels, whose main purpose is to facilitate and strengthen interaction, information exchange and cooperation between IGLO members, their national research systems and European institutions on issues related to the EU Framework Program for Research and Innovation and education programs such as Erasmus +. IGLO operates on the basis of the following principles: willingness to share knowledge and cooperation based on trust; active and regular participation and contribution to the activities of the network by its members; informal nature of information exchange with EU institutions.
NCBR is not a member of IGLO, but participates in its working groups meetings thanks to cooperation with the PolSCA PAN Office in Brussels, which is a member of the network.
