The company was established in December 2021 by the NCRD as a tool for the implementation of the NCBR's statutory tasks in the field of supporting and financing the commercialization of R&D, supporting the development of scientific staff, stimulating investment of entrepreneurs in scientific activity and participation in the implementation of international R&D programs.

The main goal of the Company is to improve the quality of projects involving R&D and to increase the number and value of investments in projects based on the results of R&D, at the same time significantly increasing the competitiveness of the Polish economy.

The company addresses its offer to academic staff and entrepreneurs, focusing on the acceleration of valuable projects and mentoring. It does not rule out financing the best of them through grants and equity investments, involving in risk-sharing schemes through public finance.
