The first cohort of startups participating in the acceleration activity of the National Centre for Research and Development with the State of Nevada has just completed its acceleration process in the Silver State. Polish companies presented themselves before mentors and investors from Poland and the USA. The visit was aimed at gaining unique experience in scaling business on the US market, improving dialogue with demanding investors and establishing beneficial relationships with partners who are of key importance for the success of expansion on the American and global market. The second cohort will follow suit already in June.

Significantly longer lifespan, the progress of civilization, and the improvement of life quality results in a growing percentage of senior citizens. Almost every fifth person (19.4%) in the European Union, i.e. almost 100 million people, is 65 or more years old. * The aging of the society and its challenges, technological solutions, scientific findings, forecast of changing society, and senior citizens policies will be the topics of 10. edition of the European Week of Active & Healthy Ageing. 2022 marks a tenth year since the National Centre for Research and Development (NCBR) cooperate with the Ministry of Science and Technology of Taiwan to support international research and development projects. We celebrate the anniversary with a 10th bilateral call for projects, with submission deadline on the 15th of June.
