The State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine (SNRIU) informed about another military attack of the Russian Federation on the nuclear facility at Kharkiv.

08.06.2022Nuclear safety in Ukraine and Iran are at the heart of the session of the IAEA Board of GovernorsThe members of the IAEA BoG are discussing the safety issues during the regular session at the headquarters in Vienna. The PAA President, Dr Łukasz Młynarkiewicz, and the Permanent Representative to the UN Office in Vienna, Ambassador Dominika Krois, represented Poland during the first day of the session.

The Memorandum of Understanding on nuclear safety and radiation protection was signed in Ljubljana during the Polish visit to Slovenia.

09.05.2022The public consultation on the documents related to the 2nd Topical Peer Review (TPR II) of nuclear facilities beganThe public consultation period of documents underlying the second Topical Peer Review in the EU and Switzerland will last until 27 May 2022. The current TPR 2 focuses on fire protection and safety. In Poland, TPR 2 will be performed at the MARIA research reactor.
