Government Plenipotentiary for Strategic Energy Infrastructure, Piotr Naimski took part in a meeting of the North Atlantic Council on Russia's energy policy.

At the meeting on September 10th Minister Piotr Naimski briefed the North Atlantic Council on the Polish energy policy, including activities aimed at increasing the diversification of energy supplies. During a visit to NATO headquarters, he also met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and consulted with Kurt D. Donnelly, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Bureau of Energy Resources at the US State Department.

The talks focused on Polish-American energy cooperation and trilateral talks between Russia, Ukraine and the European Commission regarding the extension of the contract for the transit of Russian gas through Ukraine.
