The Ministry of Science places particular emphasis on developing and supporting academic mobility as well as the internationalization of higher education, seeing them as key factors in enhancing the quality of teaching and research. Poland currently offers access to education at some 350 universities, with study programs conducted in both Polish and English. The ministry also invites Algerian students, researchers and scholars to participate in programs of the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), which aim to foster international scientific cooperation.

“In Poland, we have approximately 800 Algerian students who contribute to the multi-ethnic community of foreign students in Poland. In addition, the National Science Center and the National Center for Research and Development fund projects that also involve Algerian partners. We encourage the development of scientific cooperation in the field of higher education with Poland, especially to learn about NAWA’s scholarship programs as well as possible cooperation with the Łukasiewicz Research Network,” stressed Deputy Minister Andrzej Szeptycki during the meeting.
