Possibilities for Polish-Bavarian cooperation were the subject of a meeting between Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Prof. Andrzej Szeptycki, and Secretary of State at the Bavarian Ministry of Economy, Regional Development and Energy, Tobias Gotthardt, which took place on October 4.

The participants in the conversation exchanged views on the course of action to maintain the EU’s leadership in nuclear research in the face of increasing competition from global competitors. Both sides stressed the importance of intensifying academic exchanges to boost bilateral contacts. The Bavarian side expressed interest in establishing wider contacts with Polish scientific and research centers in the area of research on new energy sources.
