The Family 500 plus programme changes the lives of Poles

“The ‘Family 500 plus’ programme allows many families to really live on plus,” said Prime Minister Beata Szydło at the conference summing up three months of the programme.
She added that this has been the first comprehensive family support programme since 1989.
“The programme is not a cost, it is an investment that Poland needs,” said the head of the government. As she emphasised, the government's support meets real needs of families. “In many places, where unemployment is high, where families had to buy on credit, this credit is gone,” she pointed out. “This year, many families will go on their first holiday together, and in the new school year, children will have the opportunity to start learning foreign languages or attend additional classes. That is thanks to 500+,” she emphasised.
