The Head of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy presented the most important programs implemented by the Ministry i.a.: "Family 500+", "Toddler+", "For life" and "Senior+". Minister Elżbieta Rafalska stressed that, the implementation of tasks in the field of social policy would not be possible without good cooperation with local governments. And also noted that according to Central Statistical Office (GUS) data, the number of beneficiaries (temporary or purpose benefits) of social assistance declined. During her speech Minister Rafalska directed an incentive to local government representatives towards wider usage of government assistance in the sphere of social services. Summing up the previous year Minister stated that, taking into account economic and labor market situation, 2017 was a good year for Poland.
