This is the first step in the new opening of the programme.

“The Large Family Card is an important instrument supplementing the family policy. Discounts for its holders make it possible to relieve large families whose expenses connected, among others, with the purchase of food take up large part of the household budget,” said Elżbieta Rafalska, Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy.

Important changes await the Large Family Card. A special mobile application “LFC on smartphone,” thanks to which in order to get a discount you just need to show the card in your phone, will be launched. In addition, thanks to the geolocation feature, a card holder will be able to quickly check on the phone where the discounts can be used nearby. To expand the offer for the LFC holders, talks with potential partners will be held. An intensive information and promotion campaign addressed to potential partners and large families is also planned.

The Large Family Card is granted to every member of the family, including foster families and children's homes of family type. The card for parents is issued for life and for children up to the age of 18 or 25 in the case of continuing education. The card is granted for free and regardless of income. In total, the discount is currently accepted by over 1.1 thousand companies and institutions in almost 11 thousand places throughout Poland.
