The new edition of the Family 500+ Programme will reach a total of 4.4 million families. Approximately 6.8 million children in Poland will benefit from the benefit. - Money from 500+ allows families to live with dignity - says Urszula Salwa, mother of two children. She adds that many families have finally managed to make ends meet due to the programme.

Better daily life, brighter future

- The Programme allows to calmly plan a monthly budget in order to meet the needs of all the children, including extracurricular activities, activities outside the house, trips and medical treatment. It also gives an opportunity to save money for the future - says Tomasz Golon, a father of six. The support also relieves parents of the burden of monthly fees. Agnieszka Pasierbek admits that she uses the money to pay for her daughters' kindergarten. - We can put some money aside in a bank deposit to secure the future for our children, and we can allocate more funds for everyday expenses, including food, clothing and educational toys for children. It allows as to plan our daily expenses at peace, without fear that we will not be able to afford something - declares Anna Powroźnik.

Parents agree that the money in the Programme took away part of the stress related to planning their monthly budget.

Jowita Zdanska, mother of four, admits that 500+ made her family's life much easier. - The money we receive allow us to pay our bills and buy food. The Programme was very helpful in everyday life. I'm not worried about being able to afford food and essential things for children - she adds.

Extracurricular activities, workshops and trips

- In the case of our family, we use the money received under the programme on additional English classes and tutoring, as well as to renovate our flat, including the space for children to study in - says Jadwiga Adamska.

She's not the only mother who invests in the development of her children. - We were able to pay for additional language classes, dance and gymnastics classes - says Joanna Dula, mother of two children of school age.

- For me, a mother of three, the Family 500+ programme is ideal - says Ewelina Jurkiewicz. - My husband and I can spend more time with our children on family trips and allows us to afford culture. Without making any sacrifices, we provide our daughters with additional classes such as dance, art or foreign language classes. Due to the financial support I can also afford to help my children develop their interests by, for instance, buying educational games - she adds.

A similar opinion is expressed by Joanna Dula, who emphasizes that due to the money obtained from the 500+ Programme, the family can afford holidays or weekend trips.

Families with multiple children have better lives

Since the introduction of the 500+ Programme in the new formula, single mothers, single-child families, as well as families with multiple children are now better off. - The quality of our large, seven-person family has improved. We can start saving money, we have renovated our home, and we bought a laptop for the kids. The most important thing, however, is the fact that we can now afford special medical treatments for our children - say Urszula and Jarosław Karasz. The Programme changed the life of their family for the better.
